Quran says :
We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. Surah Adh-Dhariyat Verse 56
Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?” Surah Al-Mu’minun Verse 115
And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference. Surah Al-Isra, Verse 70
O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? Surah Al-Infitar, Verses 6 and 7.
